Tips
  • The software supports multiple connections, so on certain Internet connections it may be possible to enhance FTP download speeds by downloading two or more files at once from an FTP server. The success of this is also effected by the performance of the FTP server.
  • It is not possible to move files between FTP servers (this would require the servers to be able to talk directly to one another). However, there is nothing to stop you from having a connection to each server and then passing files between a local file on your computer.

  • Version History

  • v1.00c - greatly improved multi-threading for uploading permits the user to upload and download at the same time
  • v1.00b - fixed issues with the file lists and registration, plus fixed the "spaces in filenames" bug for UNIX based servers
  • v1.00a - initial release

  • Known Issues
  • Sometimes making another FTP request before another one is complete may cause problems and a series of errors. To rectify, close the FTP window and simply reconnect.
  • The program may appear to hang if given incorrect FTP server information, or if your Internet connection fails. Only occurs during initial connection to FTP server. This issue is "non-fatal" and is often recovered from automatically within 5-25 seconds.
